Extraction Description
The volatile oil obtained by steam distillation of the freshly cut flowering tops of the herb.

Scent Description  It has a penetrating fresh, herbaceous camphoraceous odour.
 
Lavender Spike Essential Oil. This particular lavender is often used in room sprays, due to its reasonable cost. Used to repel lice in animals. It relaxes and soothes the mind & body. Can be used neat on wounds & burns but care should still be taken. Blends happily with many other many other oils. Number 1 for use in first aid kit at home. Can be used as a massage, in vaporiser, bath preparations, and on pillow. Lavender has an abundance of uses: Insect repellent, scents linen and deters moths. Dandruff, PMT. Neutralises insect bites and stings (bees, wasps, mosquitoes and nettlerash).

Constituents/Active Ingredients
Principle constituents are cineol and camphor (40-60%) Also contains linalol and linalylacetate among many others.

DILUTE TO 5% OR LESS IN A CARRIER OIL BEFORE SKIN APPLICATION. KEEP OUT OF EYES. DO NOT SWALLOW.
